With shopping completed in Calgary and arrangements made for new tires to be installed when we get to Dawson Creek BC. We headed west through Banff and Kootenay national parks to spend a few days relaxing at the Gallegher (Sister's married name) family cottage on Lake Windemere. Great weather, good food and lots of sleep.
Finished reading a very interesting and highly entertaining anthropological study on human sexuality by Christopher Ryan, PhD and Cacilda Jetha, MD entitled "Sex At Dawn" (The prehistoric origins of modern sexuality). A highly informative, entertaining and "in-your-face" must read, that questions much of our existing understanding and social mores around sex. Get ready to recognize and laugh at yourself (Not you Lindsay and Hilary you are too young!)
Returned to Calgary today to retrieve a much missed Lucy and pack up for the continuation of our trip north tomorrow morning. Destination Fox Creek Alberta. A small town about 185 Kms north west of Edmonton.
Stay tuned.
